Unqualified, But Willing

We project our insecurities on God like crazy, don’t we? Yes, with a straight face, our hearts declare “Hey, God - that’s not my skill set, therefore I can’t be used in this area”. It’s as if we’re trying to convince the all-knowing God of Heaven that He’s got the wrong number lol

“But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” - Exodus 4:10

We often forget God is the MANUFACTURER of our existence; nothing happens without His approval or involvement. He has the ability to transform our inabilities instantly for the sake of His good work. If God used Moses in the midst of His speech impediment and insecurity, don’t think for one second that He can’t use you in the midst of your inabilities.

The deeper question we have to continue to ask ourselves in the midst of our request to be used - How far are you willing to go once you’ve been called? God replied to Moses’ objection with this: “Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?” (Exodus 4:11)

The Lord is faithful – He does not call the equipped; rather He equips those He calls. Trust that He won’t leave you out to dry when you obey Him. In fact, when we obey His call, He soaks us with enough grace to complete the task.

Let God use you despite you

Love y'all,
Sheim
