In Philippians 3:2, Paul warns the church in Philippi to watch out for a group of people known as the Judaizers, who were preaching Jesus + Law.

"Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh." - Philippians 3:2

Paul calls their work evil, and the reference to "mutilating the flesh" in the verse refers to their promotion of circumcision as a requirement for salvation on top of Christ's sacrifice.

We, too, need to be on the lookout for ANYbody preaching a Gospel other than Christ crucified. With all the gurus and thought leaders warring for our attention, we need to be diligent in our awareness of false teaching!
